Mana Mehrabian is an interdisciplinary artist based in eastern Washington State. Her work explores themes of perception, identity, home, and memory through the lens of the immigrant experience. Working across and between installation, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, she considers images and photographs as both a primary source of inspiration and a conceptual foundation for her practice. Her work incorporates familiar materials and everyday objects while examining the associations and references they carry. Engaging architectural elements, including visual motifs from Iran, where she grew up, her practice is informed by personal and cultural memory and history.
Mehrabian is a recipient of the 2025 Artist Trust Fellowship and the 2022 Artist Trust Grants for Artists’ Progress (GAP). Her work has been exhibited at venues across the United States and internationally. She currently works as a lecturer at Washington State University.
